Clyde Clipper boat trips on Loch Linnhe by Fort William

Clyde Clipper is Fort William's resident cruise boat which sails most days in the summer months on Loch Linnhe and Loch Eil. A great boat trip.

Loch Linnhe and Loch Eil by Fort William are very scenic, tidal sea-lochs and you'll be pleased to learn that "Clyde Clipper" awaits your visit. Operated by Crannog Concept, the vessel takes visitors for a cruise down Loch Linnhe to look for seals and to let you see salmon jumping out of the water from their sea farm pens. The views of Ben Nevis on the way back to Fort William are really good. Clyde Clipper has a below decks lounge area and serves refreshments and snacks.

Some evenings Clyde Clipper take a short cruise through the narrows into Loch Eil where on sunny days you may well be treated to a fantastic evening sky. On the way back, Ben Nevis dominates the skyline - so don't forget your camera !

If you are planning a visit to Fort William by sea be sure to book a berth at Thomas Telford Corpach Marina at the entrance to the Caledonian Canal. Our marina has 45 sheltered berths with fresh water and electricity. Ashore we have first class toilets and shower facilities and a small coffee shop. Close by are shops and pubs with regular transport into Fort William. Our marina is community owned and managed and is not directly involved with the Caledonian Canal. An Cafaidh Mara An Cafaidh Mara is our new coffee shop at the entrance to the Canal within our marina facilities building, open to customers seven days a week. Check out their social media. Book a berth or slipway use If you are bringing a boat to Fort William we have a sheltered all weather slipway within the marina for launching and car parking of cars and trailers.
