This page explains how to get to Glencoe by bus, coach and taxi. Other pages on the visit Glencoe website have links about travel to Fort William

Travelling by bus or coach to the Glencoe area is quite straight forward but does require some thought.

The main bus operator in Scotland is Scottish City Link bus operators. In Fort William and surrounding area, the Fort Link service, which is great for getting around, is operated by Shiel Buses. Whilst it is easy to get to Glenocoe and other villages nearby, the area is very rural and may require some walking, so you should check with your accommodation exactly how far they are from where the bus will drop you off. Buses to or from Glasgow also take passengers to Kinlochleven, so be prepared for a scenic tour of Loch Leven before getting back onto the A82 North.

There is also a bus service to Oban calling through Kentallon, Duror, Appin and Port Appin.
