Mountains inspire us all in different ways - and you won't find a better example of the diversity of mountain culture than the Fort William Mountain Festival - an annual festival of lectures, demonstrations, exhibitions and films. But don't just spectate - participate! We've got loads of ways for you to get active and involved, so grab the chance to join guided walks, skiing and boarding lessons, climbing and winter-walking workshops or explore your creative side on a writers' afternoon or music workshop. The Mountain Festival has been a huge success since its first days and is now an important fixture in the Lochaber calendar.

If you are planning a visit to Fort William by sea be sure to book a berth at Thomas Telford Corpach Marina at the entrance to the Caledonian Canal. Our marina has 45 sheltered berths with fresh water and electricity. Ashore we have first class toilets and shower facilities and a small coffee shop. Close by are shops and pubs with regular transport into Fort William. Our marina is community owned and managed and is not directly involved with the Caledonian Canal.
