Saturday 20th July @ 7pm, Ardgour Village Hall. Blue Rose Code in concert.
Ross Martin aka Blue Rose Code's music has been described as "Ravishingly beautiful, a blaze of Caledonian Soul, muted jazz & poetic recitation (Uncut), having an "almost religious intensity and sincerity. Wilson makes widescreen soul in the spirit of Van Morrison (The Times), and "One of the best live acts around..."(AmericanaUK)
BRC is one of the most life-affirming acts I've had the pleasure of working with, and I can't recommend this gig highly enough!
***The gig is reachable by public transport from the 'mainland' side of the Corran Ferry (which is free for foot passengers), and we make the gigs finish in time for the last ferry back - just make yourselves known if you need a lift to the boat, and someone will get you there in time!
And if you plan to make a whole day or evening of it, you can visit the @ArdgourAles microbrewery in the village, or have a meal at the @innatardgour for a meal (but book - it's busy!). And get to know the area a little, try the Geotourist self-guided walking trail, with stories, histories and information told by Ardgour folk themselves https://geotourist.com/tours/6919/A_walk_in_Ardgour ***
